Pour cette première collection de 8888, Jean-Michel Gadoua a mandaté ses collaborateurs d’imaginer les objets d’un quotidien brutal et métal. Acier perforé et béton armé, le nouvel optimisme d’un monde dystopique. Bien que le mobilier représente le noyau dur de cette collection, celle-ci offre également des accessoires, des vêtements, de la musique, de la poésie, des sculptures, des items de soins corporels etc. Pour Wet Metal, 8888 édite tout, partout et pour tous. La collection Wet Metal qui se décline en plus d’une quarantaine de pièces, a vu le jour à l’automne 2020. |
